This bed is designed for maximum storage and functionality, featuring two vertical cabinets, two angled pull-out trays, two flush-mount top lids, and two rear underbody boxes—plus a bonus locking rear shovel compartment for added storage.

With multiple configuration options, you can customize this bed to fit your industry’s needs. All doors are equipped with a three-point latch system and compression whale tail latches, along with a tamper-resistant, serviceable integrated bolt-on door system for enhanced security.

For towing, the 2.5″ receiver supports a bumper pull hitch, while a B&W turnover ball gooseneck hitch comes standard for handling heavy loads. Our receivers are lab-tested and certified for 18,500 lbs bumper capacity and 30,000 lbs gooseneck capacity.

Additional features include adjustable galvanized tool trays with optional cabinet tool drawers for organized storage of tools and parts. The bed also comes standard with dual LED rear work lights producing 3,600 lumens, a tailgate, and a gloss black powder-coated finish for durability. This bed comes with 4 oversized vertical cabinets with standard adjustable galvanized shelving, 2 horizontal cabinets with adjustable galvanized shelving, plus a bonus locking rear shovel compartment for tons of additional storage.  All doors are gas shock equipped and locking paddle latches are standard. Our 2.5” bumper receiver allows you to add a hitch for bumper 18,500 lbs of rated pull capacity. Available cabinet drawers can add the finishing touch if you have a lot of parts or tools for your work load. Multiple lighting choices and cast housings are also available. The Norstar SL Journeyman Bed is a marriage between our two most popular beds, the SD and ST. Our Journeyman Bed offers the best of both worlds with multiple tool boxes, a full-width deck, rub rails and stake pockets, and many more features for whatever the job throws at you.

This bed features a full-width 1/8” diamond plate deck, standard rub rails and stake pockets, LED work lights, 7 way receiver, plus a gooseneck well plug. The standard 2.5” receiver allows you to add a hitch for bumper pull cargo and a 2 5/16” gooseneck ball is standard in case you are hauling a heavyweight. Our receivers are lab tested and certified for 18,500 lbs bumper capacity and 30,000 lbs gooseneck capacity. The SL is built with the versatility to handle whatever the job throws at you.
